Last weekend I photographed St Jerome’s Laneway Festival for the sixth year in a row, for The AU Review. One of my current favourite bands Chvrches were playing (I also shot them at Laneway in 2014), and I finally got to see Purity Ring live after hearing so many great things about them. My favourite new discoveries were Health, Fidlar, DIIV and Metz.
There were alot of clashes on the timetable this year, and the Very West Stage was almost one kilometre away from two of the other stages, so it made shooting as many bands as possible a bit difficult. I really wanted to catch Violent Soho, but it would have meant missing Grimes, so I chose Grimes.
Here are some of my favourite shots from the day, and you can view more on my Flickr. All images were shot on my Nikon D800.
